There was a time in my life when I was afraid that people would find out I was an imposter<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I often felt I needed to be better<\/strong> than I was<\/strong> to be better at what I do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until the truth was divinely laid on my heart. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So as a coach, a wife and mother, a sister, a friend, and above all else- a human being,<\/em> I want to be forthcoming with this truth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t have it all together and I KNOW it.<\/strong> And I’m at peace with it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because I was made aware of the fact that  KNOWING that I DON\u2019T KNOW <\/strong><\/em>is the magic key<\/em> behind the ability to help others and<\/strong> also be helped by and learn from them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other words, I don\u2019t know more<\/em> than you, nor do I need to. Figuratively speaking, I AM <\/strong>you. And you are me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And whether we triumph or fall, fuck up or prevail, find ourselves sitting in moments of calm mindfulness, or cloaked in agony, pain, and moments of disbelief- we are connected. It\u2019s not perfection or advanced intelligence that allows service of one another- it\u2019s acknowledgement<\/em> of this connection and an urging from within to seek it out and drive it forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s my belief that our role here is not to alleviate<\/em> one another’s pain, navigate a journey that isn’t our own, or attempt to convince another of an opinion or action that hasn’t been laid on their own heart organically. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think we’re just meant to sit with another when pain is too potent for words, walk beside another when fear prevents us from taking that first step by ourselves, encourage and urge to the surface the brilliance in another that they may be unable to sense on their own, and support another in flying solo or taking space if and when they’re led to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re meant to learn from one another and share what we’ve learned.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

None of this requires having it all together or futile attempts at unattainable perfection. It just requires a belief in something greater than ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
