Out of your mind?

Isn’t it ironic that “out of your mind” is generally referred to as a place we don’t want to inhabit, when in actuality the underlying intent of every soul workout we embark upon is to strengthen our ability to do just that?

The strength to get OUT of the ordinary mind so that we can operate more fully in the raw mind.

Anybody else out there realize that this is an area you were attempting to reach before you even had the language or the “knowledge” to describe where you were headed?

Or why?

I ask you, but I already know the answer. 😊 hello tribemates!

The universe has been hammering me hard lately with the reminder that I can’t continue to be stalled in my pursuits due to fear of others not understanding my actions or decisions.

Actions or decisions that often contradict my usual m.o. – one in which I generally feel the need to over-explain myself, usually because I’m afraid of hurting someone else’s feelings when they don’t “get” me.

Which in the bigger picture has often resulted in inadvertently affecting my own, as well as others’ (there I go again!) growth in a negative manner.

On my journey I’ve recently come to recognize that when you are truly and transparently moving in love with actions and decisions that align with that, there are no explanations necessary.

Even if nobody else knows what you’re doing or why.

They may think you’re out of your mind and leave it at that. And that’s okay, especially when YOU understand that’s a desirable place to be.

Others will understand when and as they’re meant to. You are not responsible for convincing them of what each of us must arrive at for ourselves.

Especially since you yourself may not have fully understood what you were doing.

You may not have known what to call it, or how to go about it exactly, but you had a sense that it was all a part of something bigger.

Something necessary.

Something that one day would require no explaining.

And in the meantime, you’ll forgo the understanding of others in return for the fortitude afforded when you move in the faith that something greater is at work and it’s attempting to work through you.

Love.

We may not understand it, but moving in its current will always take us where we need to go.

Love lift us up where we belong
Where the eagles cry, on a mountain high
Love lift us up where we belong
Far from the world below
Up where the clear winds blow…”
