I’ve noted that when I can’t even begin to get started on something it’s because I’ve already overwhelmed myself with simply the very idea of it.
Deluged with thoughts of “ALL that must be done” before the undertaking can be accomplished, finished, viable, worthy, meaningful, etc… _________________ (insert yours here), I’ve often extinguished the spark of desire that would light my inner fire and spur me readily into action.
No fire= limited action.
Sparking the fire to spur us into action requires constant reminding that we have ONE role in whatever we’re taking on and it’s to:
Concentrate fully on expending your energy to the task at hand RATHER than the amount of time, effort, discomfort, etc… it will take to reach your goal. Your focus is utilization of your time, which you have complete control over, RATHER than the passage of your time, which you have no control over. -The Universe
Our role is to take action in the area we’ve been led to take it.
- Not perfectly
- Not always without fear or initial confidence
- Not expediently
- Not prettily
- Not always understandable to others
- Not necessarily how someone else would do it
- Not _________________ (yours here)
Our job is to take action as best that we are able and then leave it be. This is so much easier to say than do, as with all soul workouts, so these words were given as a reminder phrase:
Put forth your best efforts utilizing whatever you’ve been given to work with. Rest. Repeat.
If you’ve expended the energy to make the effort, you’ve succeeded. Let yourself be.

There is no sacrifice
It’s a do or die situation
We will be invincible…”

I welcome your input!
