How do you know when you’re meant to give something up? Or take something on? Or take space from a person/place/situation?
From giving up habits, behaviors, people, situations, etc… that don’t serve your well-being to taking on a new responsibility, creating a wellness habit/commitment or taking some space to gain healing and clarity in all matters of being…
how do you know when it’s the “right time“?
You don’t.
Then again, you DO. okay, stay with me here- I promise I’m leading you somewhere solid…
Wouldn’t it be great if I was about to tell you that you would receive a blatantly identifiable sign from the universe advising just when to take the leap into, out of, or spaced from, the circumstance you’re considering? Oh how I’ve wished to wake up and find an angel standing at the foot of my bed, eating a bowl of Rice Krispies while saying, “Okay Lisa, you know that thing you’ve been considering? It’s GO time.”
That has yet to happen.
You see, I’ve noticed that the universe has this rather irritating but extremely effective practice of not doing or deciding that which we are capable of and meant to be doing for ourselves.
But just because we need to do it for ourselves does not mean we’re expected to do it BY OURSELVES.
Sometimes you will receive a blatant sign that it’s GO time. Most likely it won’t be an angel speaking to you verbally over a bowl of rice krispies, though who’s to say?
But *it’s been my experience* (see note below) to receive several “heads up” moments cluing me in to what I’ll eventually be led to do before I’m actually expected to do it.
Sometimes when we first get clued in about something we will eventually do, it rarely makes sense to the level of self that first got the inkling of it, so we discard it.
Signaling we’re not yet ready to know or act on what we’re being shown.
But the level of self that desires to know what we’re ultimately intended to grasp will keep hammering away at us until we finally submit in acknowledging its importance.
And once we’ve done this, turning back is nearly impossible.
Because it’s one thing not to know something- you don’t know it. But you cannot UN-know what you now know once you know it.
Then you realize it’s GO time.
And while the importance of this action to your evolution is bigger than what you may logically comprehend, you sense within the depths of yourself that this knowing is leading you toward something of increased value in your life and you want that.
Even if it’s scary.
Especially if it’s scary!
Because when you realize you now KNOW what you’re meant to know, it means you have the tools and soul stamina to handle it.
So you do.
LIVING your life is a trustfall baby. 🙂
*always remember that I’m limited to navigating from the lens of my own experience -as we all are- so your experience will differ from mine or anybody else’s for that matter! This is why it’s important to decipher for yourself the meaning behind occurrences in your life to interpret what you’re being shown. It’s imperative to pay attention rather than writing things off.*

I welcome your input!
