Hello from your present day, 2025 self. Just dropping you a line to let you know it’s taken me 60 years, but I’m ready to take the call, have your back, quit the bs, etc. Basically, what I’m trying to tell you is that I’m ready to love you with radical acceptance and intention.

Now.

Unconditionally.

AS IS.

Yeah, I know self-love has been a weak muscle of my being, but I’ll continue to put it at the forefront of my many soul workouts and do the heavy mental lifting I require to:

• Nutritiously fuel your body with the same intention, thoughtfulness, and care I’ve so freely and effortlessly offered to others I love but have so often withheld from you.
• Prioritize celebration of my body and its service to me through my workouts over aesthetics. Revel in the sheer joy and pleasure that movement brings, mindful of the fact that it’s a GIFT not a given.
• Continue to not only educate your aging brain, but to protect it from any further harm I’ve unknowingly knowingly inflicted upon it by engaging in habits and products enjoyable to me but detrimental to you.
• Limit or remove your exposure to any people/places/things that deplete your energy, make you question your innate significance as a human being, drain your spirit, or in any way diminish your ability and/or desire to shine your light as you’ve been directed.
• Turn down the volume on the mental broadcasting of others I’m so easily unwittingly tuned into that I’m prevented from acknowledging your quiet declaration of needs, desires, and dreams. I’ll turn up your volume and I’ll listen to you.
• I will speak to you with utmost respect and kindness.
• Since this list could go on forever, let’s nutshell it into this:

I’m going to take you off the back burner of my life and put you at the front. You’ve been simmering long enough and the time has come to prioritize YOU.

I’ve got your back.
